Dry Mouth

The main causes for a dry mouth are: Medicines, Sjögren’s Syndrome and diabetes, age,  head and neck cancer and its treatment. 

Saliva lubricants can help protect the mouth from bacteria.As well as a lubricant there are toothpaste and mouthwash available at Health Pharm that are gentle on the mouth and help protect against dry mouth.
